This privacy notice describes which personal data SolarSim collects via solarsim.local and our solar simulator, and why we process them.

What data do we collect?

• Address and roof data you enter in the simulator (location, roof area, orientation).
• Contact information you voluntarily leave when requesting a quote (name, email, phone).
• Technical data such as your IP address, browser type and pages visited.

Why do we use your data?

• To build and send your personalised solar quote.
• To answer your questions and follow up on your request.
• To improve our services and detect misuse.

Retention period

We keep your personal data for a maximum of 90 days after your last contact, unless a longer statutory retention applies (e.g. 7-year fiscal retention for invoices).

Your rights (GDPR)

You have the right to access, correct or delete your data. Send an email to contact@solarsim.local with a copy of your ID document.
